PGPPublicKey creation time different from other apps

juankb1024
I'm using BC 152 and have been having some minor problems with expiration
dates. Since the expiration date is dependant on the creation date, I
noticed that the date when calling:

/PGPPublicKey pgpKey ...
Date creationTime = pgpKey.getCreationTime();/

Which eclipse shows as: /Tue Oct 04 18:01:17 COT 2016/

Is different from the one shown using pgpdump:

/Hashed Sub: signature creation time(sub 2)(4 bytes)
                Time - Tue Oct  4 18:02:58 -05 2016/

While the problem is hardly noticeable, I wanted to know if the problem is
in BC or in pgpdump?

BTW I Don't know how to show detailed time in GPG so I could not test that.

You sure you compare the same times? The signature creation timestamp is a different subpackage than the key creation date. You need to look at the "public key packet" for the creation date.
