Bouncy Castle Crypto Provider Package version 1.51 now available
Release 1.51 is now out.
This release adds further performance improvements for EC based algorithms (particularly SEC Fp curves), as well as adding
automatic EC point validation for decoded inputs and multiplier outputs. Client-auth is now supported by the D/TLS APIs, random
seeking support has been added for some lightweight ciphers and BSI plain ECDSA has been added. RFC 5469 key wrapping for AES
has been added, full support for ECDH has been added to the OpenPGP APIs, and Locale based date handling has been added to the
ASN.1 API. Support for random seeking has been added to some light weight stream cipher implementations and block cipher modes.
In addition a number of other improvements have been made and a number of bugs have been fixed.
Note: this release has seen a further clean out of deprecated methods with the OpenPGP API being the main candidate. In
association with the addition of random seeking ciphers the return values on a couple of methods have also changed in the
lightweight API, so we recommend compiling against this release before trying to use it.
